Melissa Ramos founded Gallerie Noir from a belief that environments quietly shape how we live, think, and restore ourselves.
Her work sits at the intersection of interior architecture, phycology, and material intelligence— guided by restraint, longevity and an acute sensitivity to how space affects the nervous system. Rather than treating design as decoration, Melissa approaches each project as a form of stewardship: considering light, air, materials, proportion, and silence as carefully as form. Her belief, is that true luxury is quiet. That restraint is more powerful than excess. That materials matter. And that a home should restore what the world depletes.
Philosophy
Melissa’s perspective has been shaped by years of working closely with private clients, observing how even the most beautiful homes can feel exhausting when they are not designed with the body in mind. She is known for creating environments that feel calm without feeling sparse, and luxurious without excess— spaces that reveal themselves slowly and become more restorative over time. Through Gallerie Noir, she continues to explore how thoughtful environments can support wellbeing, clarity, and continuity across generations.
This is not trend-driven work. It is deeply considered and intentionally private.
Private Work
Gallerie Noir accepts a limited number of private residential commissions each year. Projects are considered based on alignment and long-term perspective.
Melissa and her team are based between global cities. Working quietly worldwide.
